About Us

For 15 years, Steel Designs has been designing and producing unique, original, custom works of art and architectural elements. These items are made out of steel and various metals including: copper, brass, bronze, stainless steel, mild steel, and aluminum, as well as various types of wood and glass materials. Finished products may be a combination of two or more materials.
 

The genesis of Steel Designs began with an artist, Benjamin Ian Parrish, who is completely self taught and grows without any boundaries or limitations. What started out as a single artist creating a custom table made out of iron has evolved into an extremely diverse business with a continually growing portfolio. Steel Designs has an artistic flair to bring everyday items to a new level of elegance. Our pieces include both the traditional blacksmith methods and computer numeric controlled technology. As well, we design and produce traditional, contemporary, old world style and modern. The choices are limitless.

 

Our business focuses on everything the consumer desires. Steel Designs was initially known for designing and producing sculptures, tables, chairs, beds, fire place screens, gates, and grand stair cases. Today, the business has a brand and is distinguished and recognized as a design-build company. We have maintained our residential cliental, yet our commercial portfolio has expanded to include pedestrian bridges, escalators, custom stairs and railings, valet kiosk, signs, and awnings. We have an entire bar and restaurant division that designs, builds, and installs: bars, walk in wine vaults, wine racks, DJ Booths, stages, stairs, tables, chairs, bar stools, lights, chandeliers, sculptures and other types of (house jewelry).
